Announcement from our new manager, Hanna.

Dear Club members

On November 8th 2008 Nazareth Enterprises became the new owner/manager of the Ice Oasis. This Change of ownership was necessary for the continued operation of the Rink. Now Named NAZARETH ICE OASIS.
We at Nazareth are very excited about this opportunity and we are committed to bringing the Rink to its full potential. We intend to aggressively grow the four main divisions Adult Hockey, Youth Hockey, Skating School, and Figure Skating at the same time we intend to enhance and strengthen our relationship with our community of members and nonmembers, coaches and referees.
We understand that our success is dependent on the dedicated staff and the army of volunteers who kept Ice Oasis moving forward

Maintaining the foundation “Fun, Fast and Safe” will continue to be our guiding principle for Adult and Youth Hockey as well as Skating School and figure Skating

Our goal is to significantly improve and develop the programs that will have the most positive impact in our community especially the Youth Hockey and the Figure Skating. In pursuing these goals, we may do things that we believe promote Nazareth Ice Oasis and strengthen our relationship with our members, even if the near term financial returns are not obvious.

Over the last two weeks we met with consultants and specialist in the field along with members of the Ice Oasis; and we will continue to meet and gather information from all those who care to share their ideas and concerns with us.
We realized that in order for us to grow we need to look outward. Joining and maintaining membership in the US Hockey League will be one of the strategies that we will pursue. As we formulate these strategies we will communicate them with you thru e-mail; posting on bulletin board; website or newsletter.
We understand the challenges that face us and we are prepared to meet those challenges with adequate resources and planning.
